Amex Reserve with 747 Design Returns

Perhaps this belongs in the Amex forum, but the Delta Reserve made from metal from retired 747s is back:

Ooh looks like silver/white this time instead of black.

I had to have my card replaced a few weeks ago and was told that the 747 design was no longer available. I was so disappointed to receive the purple card. I know it's just a credit card, but the 747 version was just really cool. Hopefully Amex will provide an option to replace them again with a 747 version.

You can just go online and request a replacement card with the new design. I did it just this morning.

Just confirmed the same - one question will it come with a new good through date? Mine was up later this year so hoping it comes with an extended shelf life.

I have the previous 747 card that's black and just requested this new one. While I love the design and idea of having a black card, my name, card number, etc. have faded over time. I am hoping it will be better. I will keep my old card in the drawer as a collector's item.

Thanks for the heads up! Wanted a black one but they were gone before I could change it.

Fun side action - Apple Pay already updated and shows the card in the new look Sometimes it is the small things in life.

Anyone seen which aircraft they are using to provide metal for new card?

Ships 6302 (N662US) and 6310 (N670US), TPG reported on it here.

I have the black one from a few years prior, and want to keep using that one, but I love this white one. Time to make a decision I guess!

Get the new one and keep the old one in a drawer :-). That's my plan.

I literally just replaced my black 747 card with the purple one 2 weeks ago because the black was starting to peel.... So, I had to do the same thing. I just went into the App this morning and ordered a white 747 one and it worked. It'll be here in about 1 1/2 weeks.
