No Pretzels on Flights Fewer Than Two Hours in Duration?

Now here is a twist...

...does United Airlines not have enough dough to dole out those miniscule bags of pretzels to its hungry passengers on flights whose duration is less than two hours?

Passengers may not think that United Airlines is worth its salt as an airline.

By the way, chew on this: there will not only be no pretzels served on flights whose duration is less than two hours, but no other snacks will be served as well.

Some FlyerTalk members who posted in the No pretzels on flights less than 2 hrs? think that this idea is simply nuts.
